The International Conference on Software Engineering (ICSE) is the major gathering of researchers in the are of software engineering. The Institute of Software Engineering contributed in several ways to this important yearly event:

- Prof. Steffen Becker were a member of the programme committee of the co-located 16th International Symposium on Software Engineering for Adaptive and Self-Managing Systems (SEAMS).
