If you are travelling by car, please follow these signposts.
By public transport
From the main station (HBF) in Stuttgart:
Following this sign you will find the S-Bahn (city train) station.
Take one of the S-Bahn (city train) lines
- S1 (Böblingen/Herrenberg),
- S2 (Filderstadt or Airport), or
- S3 (Filderstadt or Airport)
to reach the station "Universität" (you need a ticket for two zones). This will take about 15 minutes. You can find the relevant S-Bahn timetable here.
The Computer Science building is located between the two exits of the S-Bahn station.
Please note that by taking a long-distance DB train, your ticket includes the journey up to the university. With a so-called City ticket the journey between the main railway station and the university is included on the day of arrival and on the day of departure. In the tariff system of VVS (Stuttgart linked transport system) you will need a ticket for two zones coming from the city center.
By plane
At the airport take one of the S-Bahn (city train) lines
- S2 (Schorndorf), or
- S3 (Backnang)
to the station "Universität" (you need a ticket for two zones). This will take about 15 minutes. You can find the relevant S-Bahn timetable here.
The Computer Science building is located between the two exits of the S-Bahn station.
